Blink-182

Blink-182 (stylized as blink-182) is an American rock band formed in Poway, a suburb of San Diego, California in 1992. The band currently consists of bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker, while guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge's position is disputed as of 2015.
Blink-182 is considered a key group in the development of pop punk; their combination of pop melodies with fast-paced punk rock featured a more radio-friendly accessibility than prior bands. Founded by Hoppus, DeLonge and drummer Scott Raynor, the band emerged from the Southern California punk scene of the early 1990s and first gained notoriety for high-energy live shows and irreverent lyrical toilet humor.
The band was initially known as Blink until Irish band Blink threatened legal action; they appended "-182".Cheshire Cat (1995) led the band to tour with Pennywise and NOFX on the Warped Tour. Dude Ranch (1997) was co-distributed by major label MCA Records and featured their first rock radio hit, "Dammit". Raynor was fired midway through a 1998 tour and replaced by Barker. Blink-182 has sold over 35 million albums worldwide. In 2011, The New York Times asserted, "no punk band of the 1990s has been more influential than Blink-182," and even as the band receded after their 2005 split, "its sound and style could be heard in the muscular pop punk of Fall Out Boy or in the current wave of high-glossWarped Tour punk bands, like All Time Low and The Maine."

LMAO i'm sorry there are too many that i wrote here i just couldn't help it. And i recommend you to listen to the strokes if you like indie rock. they are so cool. My Experiences of 2014

It’s January 31st, 2015 already but I just wanted to say,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I hope 2015 is gonna be a better year than 2014 ever was. For you at least. :)

Where did you celebrate your new year’s eve? I celebrated mine at home, yeah I only watched movies, ate some chips and listened to music until 12am came. No, it wasn't boring. I enjoyed my time watching Slumdog Millionare. It was great. My parents celebrated it at the park right in front of our house, with my neighbors actually. They seemed so happy when I saw them through the window. I didn’t join because, I don’t know? Probably because I was too lazy. Oops. They (my parents and neighbors) sang many songs and my dad even used a microphone. They even had a drummer and guitarist. It was real loud, I’m serious. But it was fun. Oh and they also barbecued sausages, steaks, and shrimps. And fortunately my mom barbecued some for me. It was so damn delicious. Thank you for remembering me who was watching a movie alone at my room, mom.

Okay, I don’t know what else to say here so I’m just gonna tell you about my experiences in 2014. Because 2014 was actually kinda good. But the best year I’ve ever been through is 2013. Because one of my dreams came true in that year. Believe that dreams DO come true. Believe that you can do everything you want to. Everything. But you have to know it's positive or negative. You won't disappoint yourself and even your family and friends, will you? And remember, that everything is possible. You want to go to America? THEN DO IT! Yeah it won't happen right now, but someday it will. All you gotta do right now is just work hard. Work hard until you reach your goals. You want to make your parents happy? Then all you gotta do is just think of a simple plan. Because a small thing would mean so much to someone. You can help your mom clean your room? then do it. You can say goodnight every night they go to sleep? Then do it! It's simple. I'm 100% sure it will make their days, even just a little. :)

Anyways, I’m just going to start with the first day of being an 8 grader. It was in July 2014. It wasn’t that bad. Because we all (my classmates and i) knew each others well. Basically I was so happy that I was in the same class as Hollanda. We were and are best friends. I love her so much like she’s the best. And my classmates in grade 8 were all so nice, and so are all my classmates in grade 9 now. :D My friends said that grade 8 is basically the best for most people.

❝Kelas 8 itu kelas yang paling enak. Kenapa? Karena kelas 8 itu masa-masanya bersenang-senang. Coba bayangin, kelas 7, masih malu-malu, gapunya temen, apalah. Banyak yang semester 2 baru deket sama yang lain, banyak. Jadi, kelas 8 itu yang paling enak, udah deket soalnya sama yang lain. Jadi gausah malu lagi. Nah terus kelas 9 gimana? Kelas 9 itu masa-masanya lo tau frustasi ngadepin UN SMP itu gimana. Bisa stress cuy haha. Tapi kelas 9 itu masa-masa lu HARUS enjoy-in semuanya, karena setahun laginya lo bakal pisah sama sahabat-sahabat dan teman-teman lo. Jadi, jangan sia-sia-in waktu lo di SMP. 3 tahun itu cepet, kok.❞ —unknown

Well, someone wrote that to me. Yeah, don't worry, you just have to enjoy your time. I’m in grade 9 now, so I know how it really feels.

For me, one of the best things I’ve ever been through in 2014 is when my mom, dad, sister, grandma and i went to Anyer Beach. We went by my parents’ car. It was so fun really. We stayed at a hotel near the beach. It was really near to the beach, just so you know. We stayed for 3 days 2 nights there. We rode banana boats, i was scared because i thought i would see sharks when I fell into the sea. But nah, it was just all in my head. It was a great fun. I wish i could go there again right now. Oh and we jet skied also, I really love jet skiing, it's like i could feel the beautifulness of this world when i saw the sea in maximum speed. We went snorkeling too, it was really cool you know. I could see so many coral reefs. And it was sooo pretty. It was unforgettable, really.

Okay now the WORST thing that I’ve ever been through in 2014 is that time when my best friend, Hollanda, left this country. She moved to Chicago, USA. She said that she stays in America for years. I've never thought that this would happen even until now I still can't believe that she's so far away from me. It was really heartbreaking but I was so happy for her because there’s a huge chance for her to have a better future, right? But I’m happy that we still talk and chat with each other even though it’s via Skype or Line. I’m happy that I have her in my life. She’s always there for me and vice versa. She understands me. She's so pretty and cute and all. She’s literally one of my best. Even though we're far away from each other but we can still solve each other's problems. The distance doesn't matter, right? The important thing is that we still remember each other, always. Thank you so much for everything, Holl.
